Our story
Welcome to Coops Custom Cycles. We are a small family owned and operated business in the Eastern Hills of Western Australia.
Coops started his apprenticeship thirty-four years ago in the small wheatbelt town of Trayning, working on everything that came through the door, from tractors and trucks to lawn mowers and whipper snippers and everything in between.
Working for a Honda dealership coupled with growing up on a farm and riding his first two-wheeler at the tender age of six, Coop’s love of motorcycles began. Eventually moving to the Kimberley town of Broome and living there for thirteen years, Coops quickly became known as the man to see if you needed your Harley fixed, starting the loyal clientele that follows him today.
A move to Perth in 2009 saw Coops working for Thundertech for five years, then branching out on his own to start Coops Custom Cycles in 2014. With Facebook being our only avenue of advertising, we let our builds speak for us. We believe word of mouth is the best advertising you can get.
Our busy workshop has six bike lifts, access to custom paint, air brushing and dyno tuning. We love to build one off custom bikes, always looking to be a little different and unique, but it has to work and be safe. If it is not 100%, we redo it until it is. We are also a registered repairer for all your insurance claims and needs.
Opening our online parts and accessories store is just another way we feel we can look after the motorcycling community of WA and the rest of Australia.
