Matt brought us his 2016 Breakout for a freshen up. This bike was his only means of transport and was showing signs of daily wear and tear. “Black out everything and paint the tins dark candy red” was the order. We stripped the bike down and sent everything to Ryan at Custom Modifications to be painted. While Ryan was busy with the paint, we fitted up a new final drive belt, added some Rollies under perch indicators to top off the Burleigh 2” thick Highball handlebars and fitted a super bright Hoglights 5-3/4″ black LED headlight – yes, we can see you now! We then carried out an intermediate service and pieced everything back together. We also fitted a Russ Wernimont Designs rolled front guard and a genuine Harley-Davidson Blackline console. The dark candy red paint was a special PPG mix which complemented the ink black perfectly.
