Refund and Returns Policy

Coops Custom Cycles guarantees the goods and services we sell are of acceptable quality, match the description or part number requested, are fit for their intended purpose, and will have any manufacturer warranties honored. If a good or service we sell fails to meet a guarantee, we will provide a remedy and attempt to put right the defect, fault, or failure.

Note:

* Electrical items are pre-tested at the manufacturing facility.

* Plated and painted finishes are guaranteed to be free of defects when they leave our store. All finishes pass a final inspection and are signed off as such prior to despatch. Aftersales care and maintenance of plated and painted finishes are the responsibility of the end consumer.

* Skids, slides, wheelies, and any other aggressive riding behaviour is considered product abuse and will void your warranty.

* In most instances, we will require the item(s) to be returned freight pre-paid for evaluation/testing.

* In some instances, goods may need to be returned freight pre-paid by the consumer direct to the manufacturer.

* If deemed warranty, items will be repaired or replaced as necessary.

* Claims for warranty must be submitted via email to sales@coopscustomcycles.com.au.

Returns:

As per the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, we are not required to accept returns for refund, credit or exchange:

* When the customer cannot provide proof of purchase (the original invoice).

* When the fault or damage to the goods was caused by the customer.

* When the customer knew about the defect(s) prior to purchase.

* When the customer has simply changed their mind or were unclear about what they wanted.

In rare instances, as an act of goodwill, we may accept items back for credit. A 20% restocking fee would apply. No returns will be accepted without authorisation. Please contact us via email at sales@coopscustomcycles.com.au.

Freight:

Shall you not have your own freight carrier, Coops Custom Cycles can organise freight on your behalf under the proviso our responsibility for freight including damage and loss ceases once goods leave our premises. In other words, our terms of trading in respect to goods are ex-store, with property and risk passing to the customer after leaving our premises.

Damages:

All goods are meticulously inspected, scrupulously packed and are in good condition when leaving our store. Damage claims must be made with the freight carrier, not with Coops Custom Cycles. If the delivery looks damaged, sign for the consignment as ‘damaged’.

Short Ship:

Any claims for short shipped items must be made direct to Coops Custom Cycles within forty-eight hours of being signed for.
